Caroline Evans attended the University of Central Missouri where she received her BA in Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies and MA in Sociology with a Graduate Certificate in Women, Gender, & Sexuality Studies. Caroline’s interest in human rights, specifically for survivors of human trafficking, was sparked while working toward her BA. Since then, Caroline dedicated her studies to learning how gender inequalities, poverty, and governmental instability make certain populations more vulnerable to trafficking. She completed her internship in Thailand with the Chai Lai Orchid where she assisted in self-esteem education, helped to foster inter-organizational relationships with other non-profits in the region ,and grant writing. Since then, she has volunteered with domestic violence shelters and the Central Missouri Stop Human Trafficking Coalition.
