Megan Thompson is a health communications specialist who has worked in public policy, communications, and public health in the Greater Boston area since 2010. Currently, Megan serves as the Director of Children's Behavioral Health and Member Services at the Association for Behavioral Healthcare in Natick, Massachusetts. Before completing her Masters in Health Communications in a collaborative program between Emerson College and Tufts University School of Medicine, she worked for 5 years at a public relations firm in Boston where she planned and implemented media relations, social media, and marketing campaigns for a variety of education, health, and nonprofit clients. Prior to her current position at ABH, Megan served as the Communications Manager at the Massachusetts Nonprofit Network. Megan is TESOL-certified and spent the greater part of 2016 in Buenos Aires, Argentina managing an English language Institute and teaching English. Megan is a lover of travel, culture, and food and spends her free time tending to her plants, practicing yoga, and cooking with her husband. Megan fervently believes in human rights and wishes to increase access to healthcare and education throughout the United States and the world.
